Topanga Creek Bicycles Recognized as 2015 California Small Business of the Year

In June of 2015 the California Small Business Bureau and Senator Fran Pavley recognized Topanga Creek Bicycles as Small Business of the Year. Senator Pavley and her staff showed up at the shop on a lovely Saturday and presented us the award in person. We were selected for being an industry-recognized leader in promoting recreational opportunities in the Santa Monica Mountains and also working with local law enforcement to encourage bike safety. The official award ceremony took place the following week in Sacramento, the state capital.

This is such a huge honor beyond words can describe and we are so humbled by it. Running a small business is definitely not for the faint of heart as we face tough challenges everyday. But to be recognized as Small Business of the Year truly validates what we do for our community and why we continue to do what we do. We're only here because of the support of our customers and the amazing Topanga Creek community. This award is really for all of them.
