NO RIDE. We were rained on up here earlier today and had to make the call that taking a big group tomorrow on the trails just is not a great idea. NO RIDE. We are not discouraging people from riding in small groups, it will probably be fine for that, but taking a big group through the already soaked trails after today’s rain just doesn’t sound responsible to us. NO RIDE.
The build was well thought out with Tubus racks, Schwalbe tires, bullet proof components and of course the Rohloff!
Drive-train close up with White Industries cranks (made in CA, USA). Dominic’s gearing was 42×16.

Bianca saw the Salsa Marrakesh and wanted one. A fun bike for her to go on the bike path, some fire roads, and a little adventure. And, stylish. The Marrakesh looks great next to any coffee house in L. A.
Jeff couldn’t stop at just one Mainlander, he got two. One for even days, one for odd days. Or, one for Jeff and whichever kid or friend is around.
The trails are just too wet for a Saturday ride with a big group. We need to be good stewards of the land and not riding this week mean good riding and open trails in the future.
