We have over a decade of experience regularly bikepacking and bike touring from the shop in Topanga and a similar timeframe making leather goods. Combining our two passions was a natural direction for us and the results have been amazing. We source our leather from the best tanneries in the world to create something super unique and functional.

We source our leather from a variety of tanneries so color, texture and style can vary wonderfully.  We can also hand dye on Vegetable Tan Leather in a unique style of our our own.  Everything we do and our focus is on the highest quality and most durable bicycle gear which we have applied the same approach to our leather goods.   Herman Oak has been using the same oak pits from 1886 where this hide was processed during a 4 month period at the tannery.  We combined the leather with various heavy weight wax canvas for a durable, unique and aesthetic hand made frame bag.  Everything we make is in our cabin in Topanga Canyon.     

Bikepacking frame bags are available relatively quickly for the following Surly Bikes:    Bridge Club, Ogre, Karate Monkey, Midnight Special and Disc Trucker and other Surly bikes by conversation.   Other bikes by measurement on site.

In addition to our bikepacking specific bags we are making leather handlebar bags with the Bromption/Dahon attachment and the Klickfix handle bar easy klick and go system. Bags are handmade so matching to saddles and accessories is part of the fun and just requires a quick conversation.
