Our Saturday ride this week stopped at the Foundation.
Adventure bikes ready to rent….
After a few years of talking about it, we have bikes, bags and tents ready to rent and it has begun. Our two new friends from England kicked off our program with a weekend in Topanga.
UnPredict Your Wednesday Train and Bike
Immediately after the shop closed on Tuesday Chris and Andrew took off riding a couple of Surly Pack Rats to the Chatsworth Amtrak station. (They stopped at el Big Burrito on the way). The two guys jumped on the 8 PM train and took it to Ventura where they rode in the dark to Ojai on the Ojai Bike Trail. They guys arrived at Dennison Park around midnight and camped for the night. As they started to ride the backroads back to Topanga they were treated to some Spring flowers in the valley out of town before breakfast in Santa Paula. A few significant hills and a stop for donuts kept the ride interesting as they unpredicted their Wednesday. Here are some photos of the journey.
For us, it is the little things. Here is our new bottle display.
Matt painted a watercolor. We made shirts…
Matt sent a watercolor and very kind note after visiting us in Topanga. We had such nice response when we showed off the water color that we made shirts. Here is Matt visiting again.
A whole bunch of new riders in Topanga
