Josef and his new Salsa Mariachi

Small world. Josef’s son had a fun time on the Brooklyn 718 camping trip a couple weeks ago and encouraged his dad to get a bike. We are a few miles from Josef and his son wanted dad to get a Salsa or Surly so they showed up in a Topanga. Here is the fun part. Chris encouraged Joe (owner of Brooklyn 718) to take days off and go on adventure. See, so that means, Chris encouraging another shop owner to UnPredict came home full circle. Nice. Single Speed Salsa Mariachi custom for Eric….

Eric enjoyed the Salsa Mariachi so much on the Salsa Demo day that he now owns one. Talk about patient. Making it better (from many people’s perspective) he immediately went single speed. He didn’t even ride it a foot and has single speed. Nice one.

Scott brought us back to our time on Hollywood Blvd with a very fun custom Surly Steamroller. Note the Nitto stem, seatpost and handlebars. Some really great brakes, indeed, it was fun and a reminder of many builds we have done over those original years.
