Mount Pinos Camping Weekend.
We invited everyone in the shop family to Mount Pinos for a weekend of camping, riding, eating and having fun. It was fantastic. Friday night we had a pasta dinner and campfire. On Saturday, we woke up to an incredible group camping area just for ourselves surrounded by pine trees in Mount Pinos. We had a oatmeal breakfast with all the trimmings and headed out for a long ride up to the summit of Mount Pinos. After a long rest with an incredible view, we took the flowy single track back to the campsite. Lunch was wonderfu (tacos, sandwiches, etc. After lunch Jay gave a bicycle maintenance class surrounded by pine trees. After class, we took the flowy single track to the base of the mountain and rode up. Burgers, veggie kabobs, hot dogs and fixins waited for us after the incredible climb. After dinner we enjoy the campfire and prepared for the first ever shop talent show. Poetry, music, skateboard tricks, a flute player, sorta gymnastics, guitar, geography and more entertained us for the evening. Phil’s poetry won the toaster oven. A few hours of campfire relaxing, some with soda and s’mores, some with beer and s’mores, some with just s’mores. After the amazing day and good night sleep, Sunday morning was bacon, eggs, fruit and a few donuts. We were all simply bummed that the terrific weekend was over and are all looking forward to the next one. If you read this whole thing, please join us next time..
