Want to run a SRAM XO1 94 BCD crank singlespeed? Oh, and want that chainring to have TCB engraved? We’ve got you covered.
Hooray! The Continental Mountain King Protection 27.5’s just arrived. We can’t remember the last time we’ve been so excited about a tire.
Todd and Jerry flew out from QBP (Salsa, Surly, Foundry) in 10 degree Minneapolis and had time to visit one shop today in LA… needless to say the burgers, homemade gingerbread and roaring fire at TCB sealed the deal. We didn’t get much in the way of sympathy regarding our cold snap.
A few updates to the calendar: there will be a Wednesday night ride after the shop closes at 5 this week. Bundle up and bring lights! We will have our race team meeting this Saturday 12/14 after the shop ride so if you are interested in racing next season stop on by. Also, the $5 white elephant gift exchange will be moved back a week to 12/21 so it is a little closer to the holidays. That is all.
No ride on Sunday in Chesebro. We don’t want to hurt the trails from the rain and just are not sure what the conditions of the trails will be. In the abundance of caution category we decided to postpone the ride to January. We also want new people to enjoy the ride and not dislike mud.
Justin with his new Carbon Air 9
Justin was ready for a new bike today. He lent out a couple water bottle cages on his spare bike and needed to have a bike ready with cages he told himself. Mostly he wants to hit the trails with some gears and have fun. Seeing the matching custom red fork and he was sold on the Carbon Air 9. Super nice and the red bottle cages completed his day.
Rides cancelled for weekend due to rain
It is raining too much and we don’t want to hurt the trails, so we cancelled the rides for the weekend.
