Chris Zander lives in NYC but quickly became part of the shop family after a few demo rides in Topanga with the other Chris/Kris’s. Seems he’s also a good family man because he got a Foundry carbon Broadaxe for Father’s Day. Look for him at rides, races and events, seems that NYC won’t be his only home now that he has a bike and shop family in SoCal.

We have a lot going on this month. BMC is bringing refreshments and some food on Thursday for a little pre-demo days festivities from about 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Saturday is a BMC demo days and mountain bikes will be available for the Saturday ride, but please show up super early. June 29th is a bike packing class at the shop in afternoon by Rob Roberts (Tour Divide) and then we will have a healthy dinner after to celebrate the Rooted Challenge. (Bring a super healthy dish and share with others). July 6th, we will have an overnight leaving from the shop as a bike packing trip. And, PS, all fathers should be able to negotiate any or all of these activities because June 16th is father’s day. If you are stuck at home eating burnt pancakes, you should get a pass for a day away or a new bike.
