We are going to meet at Cheeseburo Canyon and do some rides that start on a fire road, then advance to a somewhat easy singletrack and then everyone will have the option to continue for some strenuous riding or head back along the creek.   The ride is extremely fantastic for all levels.  It is a great ride to take some friends in order to introduce them to the fun of mountain biking.  We will meet at the Cheeseburo upper parking area (The black Hummer with Topanga Creek Bicycles on the side). The ride will be short for anyone who wants to turn around early on or long if they want to do more aggressive riding and just about all levels in the middle.   We will meet at 9AM.  And, after the ride we will head back to the shop in Topanga to BBQ.  Directions to Cheeseburo from Topanga/101.  Go West on the 101/Ventura Freeway to Cheeseburo Exit.  Turn Right off the ramp onto Palo Comado Canyon Road.  Turn right again at Chesebro Road.  Travel about a half mile and turn right into the park. Go to the upper parking area.  Bring some patience just in case new riders need a little extra attention as we have a great ride.

We had an extremely small group, but a really excellent ride.  We explored a few trails around Mulhoulland and found one really great single track.  Many Sunday rides in the future will benefit from today’s exploration.

Sunday, December 13 at 9AM (Meet around 8:30-8:45) and ride into Topanga State Park with us and David from Salsa. We wil do some trails and like always, hills. Because Salsa is in cold/wet Minneapolis, we will ride in mild rain (but not heavy rain, this is Southern California afterall).
