Topanga Creek Has The Perfect Touring Bikes, Gravel Bikes, and All-terrain Bikes For Your Amazing Adventures

Salsa Fargo

Salsa Fargo

The Salsa Fargo off-road adventure bike is one bikepacking machine. To begin, it's a mountain bike with a drop bar. Alternator dropouts are included to make the bike even more versatile than ever. It accepts up to five water bottle cages to keep the thirst at bay. The Fargo simply does everything exceptionally well and is in a league of its own when it comes to capability and versatility.

As proven by many who have raced the Tour Divide on a Fargo, this bike is just as capable on singletracks as it is on gravel roads. Load it up with bikepacking bags and you are ready to conquer just about any terrain and trail surface your adventure will take you on. Salsa Fargo is the touring bike you're been waiting for. We can help you customize it to your style and fit. Visit the shop for component and gear selection.

Surly Long Haul Trucker

Surly Long Haul Trucker

Surly LHT is one of our best-selling touring bikes. This bike is reliable, comfortable, versatile and full of touring-specific features so you know you can fully count on it during your adventures. The Long Haul Trucker often serves as a great commuter around town as well.

Low bottom bracket and long chainstays provide great stability especially when you are hauling lots of gear with the help of the abundance of braze-ons.

As a stocking Surly dealer, we have many sizes on the floor and love to customize each Long Haul Trucker just the way you want so you can truly enjoy this amazing bike.

Surly Disc Trucker

Surly Disc Trucker

For those of you who demand a bit more braking performance than a standard rim-brake Long Haul Trucker can provide, Surly Disc Trucker is the perfect step up to overcome the more challenging terrains that Mother Nature may throw at you. With almost identical features and components as the regular Long Haul Trucker, the Disc Trucker adds Avid BB7 cable operated brakes for their proven reliability and ease of service.

In the typical Surly fashion, they made sure that the Disc Trucker can run discs, racks, and fenders with no jury rigging. We wouldn't expect anything less on such a well-rounded bike.

Surly ECR

Surly ECR

Surly has admitted that ECR is "something of a lovechild borne of our Krampus, Ogre and Long Haul Trucker." Whatever the ménage à trois was going on in Surly's basement, the ECR is one kick-ass lovechild. It can run racks, fenders and disc simultaneously. It's compatible with singlespeed, derailleur, and Rohloff hub. It's got lots of braze-ons to mount water bottle cages and racks so you can bring lots of gear with you on the trip.

Classified as 29+ camp bike, Surly ECR is a 29er on steroids with more width, more height, more traction and more float than the regular 29ers. Needless to say the ECR can tackle any terrain and any trail condition with ease. Now go out there with your ECR and don't let others judge you. It's time for you to judge others.

Salsa Vaya

Salsa Vaya

The Vaya is Salsa's touring and road adventure bike, designed to handle any 'road' surface, from pavement, to gravel, to dirt.

The Classico CroMoly tubeset provides an excellent ride quality with or without a load. A full compliment of braze-on's for fenders, racks, and lowriders, make the Vaya an extremely versatile machine, whether your intent is touring or general road or gravel exploration.

Plan a big trip. Or keep it local. Either way, something good will come of it.

Surly Ogre

Surly Ogre

This is Ogre, Troll's big wheeled brother sister. Troll and Ogre offer the same ability to accommodate a wide array of drivetrains, brakes, and cargo-hauling accessories. The main difference is that Ogre runs on 29" wheels, the Troll on 26".

Based on the tried-and-true geometry of Surly's venerable Karate Monkey, Ogre is designed to be a platform for exploration, commuting, trailer-pulling, on-road and off-road touring, and just riding along.

The Surly Ogre comes standard with the Jones loop handlebar which provides a wide range of hand positions for maximum comfort and ergonomic. We highly recommend it on all adventure bikes.

Surly Troll

Surly Troll

Though the Troll's geometry is that of a 26"-wheeled mountain bike, it's unlike most mountain bikes you'll find anywhere you go. The frame has ample clearance for 28/38/50t mountain-triple chainrings and room for 26 x 2.7" tires. The gusseted front triangle, with its sloping toptube, provides generous standover clearance even when running high-volume rubber.

Use the Troll as a mountain bike, cruiser, commuter or touring rig. Make it your go-to utility tractor. Try out different tires and handlebars. Add some racks, build it with gears, or strip it down to a singlespeed drivetrain. Take it camping, ride it to the grocery store or session on your favorite single-track. Build it up, ride it for a while, then reinvent it.

Jones Diamond

Jones Diamond

Jeff Jones has a passion for high-performance non-suspended bicycles. His bike is both efficient and comfortable and the handling is immediate and assured.

Jones bike has a slacker seat-tube and a shorter top-tube than 'normal' bikes... the head angle and rake with this wheel size (more rake, slacker head-tube-angle and bigger wheel) determines the trail which helps determine the handling. Slacker angles keep the rider's weight off the hands and makes the front end easy to lift; the center of gravity is moved back and down for more control, with less shock to the upper body, more traction under braking, and a bike that is much harder to endo. This bike feels quick but also has a laid back feel.

Surly Karate Monkey

Surly Karate Monkey

The Karate Monkey helped to define what a 29er is today. It's been at the forefront of the 29er development and has converted many non-believers. The bike features sloping toptube which produces ample standover clearance while keeping the headtube high to provide good fit. The horizontal dropout offers the choice to run it as singlespeed or geared to meet the rider's needs.

While not given as many touring features as touring-specific bike like the Fargo, the Karate Monkey focuses on the basics and can be adapted for all types of adventures. The Revelate Frame Bag easily fits inside the large opening of the frame while the Sweetroll handlebar bag and the Viscacha seat bag double the capacity in just a few minutes. If you're in for true adventures, the Karate Monkey won't let you down!
